| Description: | There are ripe aromas of pomegranate, mulberry and black cherry. Careful canopy management ensures that the wine retains its balance, and it shows a pronounced mineral salinity and a hint of rose petals. The texture balances impressive density with freshness to create a lively feel. In 2010, Lignier purchased this parcel with friends. Planted in 1934, the old vines are susceptible to millerandage and in 2020 gave three barrels instead of the hoped-for four. The fruit, however, was super-concentrated. |
